    The pack consists of:
  1. Job Description/Further Information – read through carefully to ensure your application meets the requirements of the vacancy.
  2. Application form – ensure any employment gaps are explained on the form. CVs will not be accepted unless accompanied by a completed application form.
  3. Equality and Diversity form – this is used for monitoring purposes only. It is separated from the application by personnel and does not form part of the selection process. There is no obligation to complete this but if you are appointed, you will be required to supply this information for the College monitoring purposes.

The Application form and the Equality and Diversity form must be returned to the name and address on the advertisement.

Interviews – Interviews will normally be held within two weeks of the closing date. In the interest of economy, no further communications will be sent unless you are called for interview. If you are invited for interview we will ask if there are any special needs to be catered for on the interview day. Interview schedules normally comprise an introduction and tour of the College followed by individual interviews and, for teaching staff vacancies, a micro lesson of approximately 15-20 minutes.

Offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory Enhanced CRB checks and references.

Medical questionnaires are required to be completed following an offer of employment, in order to:

  1. a. make necessary adjustments to the working environment to facilitate any disabilities.
  2. b. monitor for reporting purposes and ensure best practice is followed.
