    Exams Assistant (Maternity Cover)

    Location: South Downs College Contract: Full Time Apply by: Noon on 28/11/2014 Salary: Scale 2/4 (£17,142 - £22,338 per annum) Examinations Assistant (full time) Maternity cover 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Scale 2/4 (£17,142 - £22,338 per annum) The Examinations Office is looking for a full time Examinations Assistant to provide admin support. You will need to be flexible (additional hours to be worked during the main exam periods, e.g. January, May and June). You should have good word processing/data entry skills and excellent attention to detail. The closing date for applications is Friday 28 November 2014 at 12 noon. Interviews date TBC

    Assistant Storekeeper

    Location: South Downs College Contract: Part Time Apply by: Noon on 27/11/2014 Salary: £17,142 - £19,620 pro rata Temporary Assistant Storekeeper 11 hours per week term time 1545-1830, Mon-Thur Scale 2/3 £17,142 - £19,620 pro rata South Downs College are seeking to appoint an Assistant Food Storekeeper. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Senior Technician (Food Store and Kitchen Support) in the efficient running of the store rooms and compilation of orders and issuing of stock (food and disposables) Applicants should ideally have a background in catering or food retail and/or an interest in food preparation and ingredient sourcing. Applicants must be used to working as part of a team in a busy and often pressurised environment. Applicants should have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate although consideration will be given to those without on the understanding that this qualification will be undertaken during early stage of employment. A HACCP qualification would be desirable but training can be given. As the role will involve stock receipt and issue, a good state of health to enable lifting and carrying is essential. Closing date: noon on Thursday 27 November 2014 Interview date: TBC
