    Travel Centre Coordinator

    Location: South Downs College Contract: Full Time Apply by: Noon on 18/08/2014 Salary: £20,001 - £22,338 South Downs College are seeking to appoint a Travel Centre Coordinator within Student Services. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating all educational visit arrangements and managing the College minibus and driver schedules. The successful candidate will have good understanding of IT packages including Microsoft Excel and Word and be able to demonstrate good organisational and analytical skills. It would suit someone with travel agency experience. Interview date: 28 or 29 August 2014

  • TITLE

    Engineering Technician

    Location: South Downs College Contract: Full Time Apply by: Noon on 21/08/2014 Salary: £17,142 - £19,620 The College is seeking to appoint a full-time technician in our busy engineering curriculum area. Applicants should ideally be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in engineering and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in the mechanical/electronics industry. Essential/desirable skills required are turning and milling and PCB circuit design and use of oscilloscopes. Maintenance skills are required to maintain the above equipment. Applicants must demonstrate flexibility in hours and tasks undertaken and have knowledge of health, safety and quality systems.   • TITLE

    Employer Engagement Coordinator

    Location: South Downs College Contract: Full Time Apply by: Noon on 04/08/2014 Salary: £22,920-25,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen with the rapidly developing Employer Engagement Team for a committed and motivated individual. The role will focus on the recruitment of Traineeships and Apprenticeships, ensuring that they are on appropriate and challenging programmes then supporting them through coaching, training and assessment of complete frameworks (including supporting Functional Skills) to maintain our outstanding achievement rates. At this time we are interested in Assessors experienced in delivering within the Business Administration, Customer Service, Management and Enterprise frameworks, however experience in Hospitality and/or Professional Cookery alongside these would be considered an advantage. The successful applicant will be a qualified Assessor, experienced in meeting recruitment and achievement targets and a track record of student achievement and recruitment. Qualifications and experience in teaching would be considered an advantage but a commitment to continuous professional development is essential. Working in partnership with employers and cross-college the successful applicant must be organised and able to move independently between appointments across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

This one year fixed term post will focus on the development and maintenance of an influential brand identity for South Downs College.
