First step for united Havant & South Downs College

Today marks the uniting of Havant Sixth Form College and South Downs College to become Havant & South Downs College (HSDC).

Tuesday, 1 August, is the first step of an exciting partnership which will provide outstanding further education for future students by building on existing strengths of both colleges.

The brand new multi-campus College has been born from two successful education establishments to form a College that will provide a varied range of high quality education and training to young people and adults across South East Hampshire and West Sussex.

The multi-campus HSDC will provide students with:

· Double the expertise– learning with leading subject and industry professionals

· Twice the choice– over 150 courses, 80 partnerships with universities and vibrant links with business and industry

· Dual campus– designed to raise students’ aspirations and meet their learning and lifestyle choices

· Digital innovation– learning through two pioneering ventures: Google and Microsoft
