Customer Service with Retail Skills Diploma Level 2
If you would like to work in a vibrant customer service / retail industry, then this is the course for you; whether you want to land your first job in retail, or specialise further in an area such as visual merchandising. Throughout the course, you will develop the excellent customer service skills you need to aid career progression. You will learn how to work effectively within a team, build upon your organisational skills, and understand how to deal professionally with customers to improve the service you offer. You will also have the opportunity to experience a range of different services, and discover the many different pathways you can take.
Good general education.
Students will develop a wide range of skills, including:
- Working effectively in a team
- Building communication skills and gaining confidence in dealing with customers
- Improving organisational skills and time management
- Learning key employability skills
- Gaining work experience.
This course is very practical and will require students to undertake work experience in a number of settings. You will develop your employability skills, such as interviewing techniques, through this hands-on experience. Students will also be expected to plan and run events as part of the course, which will be very exciting and help to build your team working skills. Some written work and presentations will be a part of the diploma.
The course will be assessed through a continuous programme of practical assessment and assignments.
Following this course you could progress to a career in retail, an apprenticeship or further study at the College.
